From 5th September 2022, school opens at 8.45am with lessons beginning at 8.55am. School closes at 3.15pm (31 hours, 40 minutes per week inclusive of lunchtime and breaks).

Leave of absence and holidays in term time
Amendments to the Pupil Registration Regulations (England 2006) removed references to family holiday and Headteachers may not grant any leave of absence during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances.
The new law does not give any entitlement to parents/carers to take their child on holiday during term time. Should parents/carers wish to submit a request for leave in term time, they must do so in writing at the earliest possible opportunity. The request must be addressed to the Headteacher, explaining the exceptional circumstances and providing supporting documentation wherever possible. Any application for leave can only be considered where there are exceptional circumstances and the Headteacher must be satisfied that the circumstances warrant the granting of leave.
Parents/carers can be fined for taking their child on holiday during term time without consent from the school.
